For its Asia Pacific operations, our client is interested in recruiting a senior professional from the electronics manufacturing industry as:

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will report to the Director of Organization Development and will work closely with HR/Recruitment teams in different countries. He will internally interface with various business divisions at senior and mid-management levels to understand their immediate and mid-term talent requirements, identify possible local/regional/global sources where such talent can be found, recommend strategies for in-house talent development, keep a very close watch on talent movements and trends in electronics manufacturing and related industries, network with senior industry figures, and build an extensive talent knowledge base which can be tapped into by different business divisions, as required.
Requirements
- At least 18-20 years of working experience in different functions, especially HR, Engineering, Operations, Program/BU Management or Business Development, in electronics manufacturing industry. A combination of OEM and EMS experience will be ideal.
- Exposure to China would be advantageous. Some exposure to India and Vietnam will be ideal.
- Knowledge of and interest in various trends and developments in electronics and technology sector, especially in Asia Pacific
- Team building experience, especially hiring and managing Cross Functional Teams
- Multi-country, multi-ethnic team experience and high level of cultural sensitivity
- Ability to identify and analyse business trends and their effects on talent pool/movements
- Strong multi-lingual communication and presentation skills
- Strong networking skills; an outgoing, pleasant personality. Counseling/mentoring abilities would be an added advantage.
