Head of Architecture - Retail Malls (Major Metros /INDIA, Expat. Status)

The Client

Our client is one of the largest conglomerates with interest predominantly in the real-estate-commercial and the retail sector. They are now coming up with a major initiative of constructing world class malls in all the leading metros in India. These malls are going to be state-of-art, world class with floor space designed to attract the best of the brands. These integrated malls will house cinemas, multi-cuisine food-courts and showrooms in addition to Live Concerts and Play areas. For this initiative, they are looking for a leading architect with expertise in design planning and market analysis to lead the design team.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for

• Conceptualizing, implementing and reviewing the design and Project Planning.
• Coordinating with the consultants and the architects to get the required drawings for the smooth functioning of the site work.
• Leading , Directing , Recruiting , mentoring and building the Team
• And creating and sustaining dynamic environment

KRAs:

• Ideal candidate will be a B.Arch. / B.Tech – Architecture with an experience of 10-15 years in the designing, Project Planning & Project Architect.
• Experience in retail malls is a must. Additional experience and expertise in the hospitality/ hotels/ Resorts Industry will be an added advantage.
• Incumbent should have experience in conceptualizing, execution and implementation of a Large Project in the past.
• He/ she should be detail oriented and analytical and able to understand relationships between structures, finishing trades, Mechanical & Electrical Services / installations.
• He / she should have hands on experience in Product costing methods, AutoCAD 2004 / 3D Studio / 3D- MAX & Photoshop, MS Office.
• Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices will be an added advantage.
• He / she should have excellent written/ verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
