Responsibilities
- Overall leadership of BU Management function including client management, project management and new product introduction
- Interface with Design, Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Sales functions
- Key point of contact and communication between client, external vendors, design teams and internal functional heads
- Key driver for business excellence and is responsible for the BU P&L and achieving maximum customer satisfaction.
- Key troubleshooter and coordinator
- Leadership of a team of BU Managers and coordinators. Provide timely guidance and intervention to the BU managers and their working team in order to ensure project timeline is met, project budgets are under control; and expectations on quality, cost, delivery and margin goals are met.
Requirements
- Ideal candidates would hold a degree in engineering from a premier institute and a post graduate qualification in business/sales/project management.
- They would have a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in program management, engineering, supply chain management or business development in leading electronics manufacturing companies.
- Exposure to working in US multinationals – either OEMs or EMS providers – would be preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with customers and as well as with the factory management and operation team, strong business negotiation skills, familiarity with quotation process, P&L forecast and management.
- Highly motivated in achieving high standard of work output, good work organization and people management skills will be critical
- Candidates must be experienced and mature techno-commercial leaders with a strong entrepreneurial flair. Should be equally proficient at both strategic and tactical levels and must possess strong coordination and complex project management skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential. Prior work experience in China preferred but not essential.
