The Client

Our client is a premium healthcare services provider in India. One of its projects is a large, premium, well-equipped 500-bed tertiary care hospital with world-class specialty excellence centers devoted to Cardiovascular, Oncology, Orthopaedics and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Our client is interested in bringing on board a senior healthcare services administrator to provide overall operational leadership.

The selected candidate will be part of a multi-cultural team of dynamic individuals working towards timely delivery of world class services to well-established corporations while ensuring complete customer confidence and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring all operations to ensure the highest quality clinical outcomes, service excellence and financial performance. He/she will ensure that resources are optimally utilized and that service and environment standards are maintained to match the image of a premium medical centre. He/she will work closely with corporate support services to optimize the hospital’s financial and human resources through cost effective measures and quality care while ensuring consistency with the overall business and strategic goals of the group.

He/she will ensure delivery of highest standards of care to patients by continuously monitoring quality assurance plans and reviewing processes and programs to improve quality care and service. He/she will establish and maintain effective communication and cordial relationships with medical and administrative staff to ensure that their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Preferably hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) or an MHA, MBA or MS in health or hospital administration, business administration or a related professional field
• Have a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible administration and management experience in a health care organization
• Be capable of providing leadership which displays a positive attitude and flexibility in changing situations, participates identifying problems and suggesting solutions
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrate high degree of analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
