Finance & Admin Manager (Private Equity)

The Client

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered Private Equity firm that specializes in MBO financing and growth capital for companies in the mid-market sector. For its Singapore office, they are looking for a bright young professional to join the team as :

Position : Finance & Admin Manager (Private Equity)

Responsibilities

• Preparation and analysis of management accounts for the fund management company and the portfolio companies
• Recommendation for temporary placement of funds.
• Preparation of Quarterly Reports covering information requirements of investors and limited partners
• Analysis of portfolio company performance
  Coordination with various investment professionals with their portfolio companies' monthly MIS reports and annual EMS (environmental management) assessments
• Management of data base and the company's files of legal documents, investments, contracts, etc
• The candidate will gradually participate in the investment due diligence process

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will be highly motivated candidates with -
  • Strong academic record - a graduate/post-graduate degree in Accounting from premier institutions. An MBA in Finance or CFA/CPA qualification would be an advantage.At least 4 years of relevant experience in audit, corporate finance, venture capital or private equity
  • Experience with preparing management accounts for private equity or venture capital companies would be ideal
  • Ability to conduct industry research and provide recommendations on investment opportunities
  • Strong written, communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin
  • Able to work independently and multi-task
