Our client is a well established MNC in the consumer foods industry. In view of expansion, they are now looking for an experienced professional to join them as:

Position : LOGISTICS MANAGER

Location : Singapore

Responsibilities

This is a newly created position. The selected incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of logistics functions which include distribution, shipment planning & documentation, MIS and interface with supplier, shipping agent & inspection agencies/statutory bodies. He must have the ability to negotiate with freight forwarders, ensure an effective and efficient running of the entire logistics system.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Supply Chain Management with 5-7 years of experience in the field of logistics with FMCG, Trading or Export House.
• Well versed with various Export norms and should have a full understanding of Documentation and other export procedures.
• Prior experience in dealing with Shipping Lines and Freight Forwarders.
• Possess strong analytical, negotiation & communication skills with ability to work under pressure.
