Our client is interested in hiring a senior lean manufacturing professionals with extensive exposure to the manufacturing sector to join the Asia Pacific team as: Position : Senior Managers (Lean Manufacturing)

Responsibilities
The selected candidates will lead a team of Lean Manufacturing professionals who drive operational excellence across various functions at multiple manufacturing sites in Asia Pacific.
- Drive Lean initiatives across the organization to meet annual Lean productivity targets
- Help foster a Lean transformation and cultural change throughout the organization
- Assist in designing and executing the Lean Management program that focuses around Kaizen and high performance value streams.
- Serve as a catalyst working together with senior leadership to execute the Lean strategy
- Lead site Lean Champions and coach teams working to lean out the value stream, and drive and track these projects to successful completion
- Train employees in the use and applications of various Lean tools
Requirements
- A degree (or diploma) in engineering from a reputed institution
- Formal Lean training and certification
- At least 8 years of business experience in manufacturing or technology in the areas of process/industrial engineering, manufacturing, quality and program/project management
- Hands-on experience in value stream mapping, flow manufacturing, KANBAN pull systems, kaizen and other lean techniques
- Proven ability to coach and lead teams using Lean techniques
- Ability to translate the concepts of Lean to the shop floor and support operations
- Ability to establish and track performance metrics of given processes
- Knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and applications will be an advantage
- Regional exposure and experience of working in multi-ethnic teams preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of Mandarin would be an advantage
