Vice President - Treasury

Our client is a main board listed engineering company. In view of expansion, they are looking to fill the position of:

VICE PRESIDENT – GROUP TREASURY
(Job Code : BF/VPT-SG/0207/IW)

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and developing effective strategy to minimize the Group’s foreign exchange and interest exposure.
• Undertaking effective cash management for all non-listed, wholly owned subsidiaries in the Group.
• Implement and supervise a team to administer the Group Treasury policies and ensure adherence to the policies by the Group’s subsidiaries.
• Render treasury advice to the Group’s subsidiaries.
• Execute, manage and monitor inter-company advances for the Group
• Maintain good banking relationships and evaluate fund raising options and project financing.
• Manage daily liquidility of the Group by running the Group’s cash management platform.
• Responsible for P&L of a financial company within the Group

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant treasury experience. 'Able to work independently and meet tight deadline
• Highly numerate and meticulous
• Positive interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage

There are two openings in Treasury. Candidates with lesser level and breadth of exposure can be considered for a MANAGER, GROUP TREASURY role.
